The Ford SVO injectors work on thirdgens. So do LT1 injectors, and other TPI injectors like Corvettes.

Yes and no. Yes they will bolt in place, will they actually work without problems, depends on the injector. Injectors are rated at lbs/hr. Stock 305 (5.0) Chevy and 302 (5.0) Ford squirters are 19 lbs/hr. 350 (5.7) Chevy are 22 lbs/hr. LT1's are 24 lbs/hr. Typhoon/Syclone 4.3 are 28 lbs/hr. Turbo Buick's stock are 30 lbs/hr. Thunderbird Supercoupe 3.8 supercharged rate 36 lbs/hr.
All of these injectors will fit in place of another, however, they won't all work the quite the same. For all intents and purposes, injectors are rated the same way. How many pounds per hour of fuel they will flow at a specified pressure. In this case the test pressure is 3 bar. 1 bar = 1 atmosphere, which is approximately 14.7 psi. The accepted test pressure is more or less 42.5 psi (there is a barometric difference that is taken in account).
Keeping whithin these parameters either with pressure, and/or pulse width is where the allowable injector size can be played with.
Hope it wasn't so technicall it bored anyone.
