Ignition Module Shorts out?
Ignition Module Shorts out?
As you might know my GTA has a mind of it's own about when it wants to start or not. I replaced the Ignition module in june and the car worked fine for 4 days and started to not start again, other thirdgen owners have replaced their modules and fixed the problem. My question is could my module be shorting out, or a loose wire somewhere? what would cause this to happen?

I've been fighting this problem for over a year now. I found out on mine that I don't need to replace the module every time it happens, but just unplug the wires to it for a few minutes. This apparently resets something (I don't know what, or if it's even the module resetting), and the car will start. You also might want to replace your ignition coil. Mine went bad and kept taking ignition modules with it.
