i want to bolt my 86 305 TPI system to my 79 350.
the casting number on the heads ends in 624.
everywhere i look says these heads got 2.02 valves. they DONT. i measured. anyway, will these work with my 86 intake?

'86 tpi should have the older style intake bolt pattern so I don't think you'll have any problems. Even if for some reason your tpi intake is cut for the 87+ style heads, you can always notch the bolt holes and drop it on.
