A friend just joined the elite ranks of thirdgen ownership with an 88 GTA. Sometimes the car will not idle without giving it a little gas, but this condition is intermittent. I'm going to help him clean the IAC and set minimum air & TPS, but I'm not sure how to check that the IAC motor is functioning correctly. I searched the archives and did not find any info on this. Thanks for any help.
