Hey Fellas,

Sorry to post this here but I got absolutely no help in the motor swap message board. What I have is a bone stock 1992 RS with the 5.0 TBI 305 and I want to swap in a 1990-1992 5.7 TPI 350. I plan on buying a complete engine including the computer and wiring harness. I also know that the knock sensor and fuel pump need to be changed. What else would I need to do or buy to make the swap work? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I hope to be coming to this message board instead of the TBI very soon.

not being a smart a$$ but,
1. 20-40hrs of labor (this was easy?)
2. a service manual (wheres this go?)
3. another vehicle (parts, pizza, work)
4. a friend with a factory tpi installed (ohhh thats where it goes!)
5. patientice (it wont start!! ARRGGG!)

Is there any information that anyone can share? Has anyone here done this swap before and have any words of wisdom? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
