I'd like some suggestions on heads for my L98..
My mods are listed below, I am buying the LT4 Cam in a few weeks, but what heads should I match with it. The gears and intake are remaining stock now for financial reasons. So, what do you think, AFR 190s, 195s, Edelbrocks, TF, Brodix? I'd prefer to spend around $1200, not too much more.

AFR's out flow them all, get the 190cc by the way... dunno if , i believe it was vader, will see this, but he said that you only need the 195's if your running a certain intake,, cant remember exactly. but get the 190's. outflow the hell out of everything else... might want to look at canfield's, i have no experience with them, just hear that they flow better at lower rpm's than AFR's, especially w/some port work
The AFRs are more than $1400 I believe. Does anybody here has experience with Trick Flow Heads?

I have a set of the 23* trick flows. I havent run them yet so i cant say how they perform. But they do flow within 10 cfms of the AFR 190s. With minor cleanup they should flow just as well IMO. I think Afrs are sold with port work anyway so I beleive the 23* TF heads are just as good. And alot cheaper, I paid about 900.00 for the centerbolt ones I have. That included studs, guide plates, and washers for the head bolts. I think they are the best deal out there right now as far as aluminum heads go.
From the tests ive read the cainfeild heads out flowed all the 200cc and under heads. As shipped, Up till about .400 lift.
The AFRs are a proven head so if you have the money your cant go wroud with them.
