SLP runners+Edelbrock base=cam??

so I got a great deal on those too pieces, I'm gonna port the plenum to the runners, and the runners to the baseplate and smouth out the casting a bit.
Any of you guys running this set up, what cam are you using?? I have stock 882 castings with about 9.25:1.
I'm looking to get 13.7 consitent 1/4 miles, I don't think the intake change alone is going to do that (from 14.6 ..hehe), but I figure the right cam and a 350 chip should get me there....
all suggestions are welcome ;-)

thanks

It might be the 85 ecm or the 305 chip or both, but you should be closer to a 14.0 et with the mods you have.
I have the same set up but I ported my SLP runners and eliminated the holes divider on the plenum so it would match the runners. Cam wise, I have a CompCam Xtreme Energy Roller 510/520, but I must tell you that you really have to love your car to be able to put up with the choppy idle. I would recommened the grind before the one I have (I believe it's 495/503)

13.51@104.27, but can run better as it is.

I just put a new 2100-2300 RPM TQ Converter. I hope a 13.20 or better

Well the intake is not on yet, I'm still running the stock pieces. I'm debating if I should put my new intake this x-mas break or not. Would I see a big difference with JUST the intake, or should I wait this summer and get a cam for it and MAYBE some AFR Heads...I say MAYBE because I have to finish my 69 BB project.... Far as the ECM, it seems to be complicated to do the swap and no one sales a harness that would make the conversion a breeze...which sucks cause I know that with even a stock 350 chip, it would perform better...(I have seen guys running mid 12's on 87 ECM with stock chip)... and the car is my daily driver, so I'm not looking to go 12's either, but a RELIABEL 13.5 would make my day

The intake by itself won't make a difference that you will really feel, I would wait and put the runners, base and cam at the same time so you don't have to do it twice.

The LT4 Cam or the Larger of the SLP cams sounds tome like it would be an ideal choice for your car.
