heads heads heads what do you think.

I am looking for some nice heads for my 87 350 tpi. Which heads have been working for you. Down the road I am going to a 383. All mods are below except that I have a zz4 cam and 1.6 roller rockers. thanks

I would strongly recommend AFR 195s. They are very expensive, but are the best flowing heads out there.

You can order these heads directly from AFR at any reasonable chamber cc size. The 195s should work great on a 383 as well as a 350.

JakeJr, if those numbers are good for heads that fit on 305's as well as 350's, I'll take a copy too.

The head flow numbers that I have are primarily for the 350 and bigger size engines. Like someone else pointed out, bore size on a 305 my preclude the use of some of these heads since the valves may hit the cylinder walls.

If a set has the numbers that appeal to you, you can always telephone the manufacturer and ask about whether they'll fit.

I'll email you the flow numbers so you can take a look.
