I like Dyno-max, but if you like it loud then look else where.

ATR is the only way to fly. sounds mellow till you get on it, then it screams. They claim it will flow enough on a TTA to go 9's. I've seen low 10's on other cars at the GS Nat's, so it's the only exhaust I use. Their website is www. atrperformance.com. These folks know their stuff. Better than Borla price-wise, but the same quality.

Whatever you do, DON'T buy an edelbrock catback! The fit is TERRIBLE and it made my 91Z sound like a generic 5.0 mustang. PLUS, one of the tailpipes was LONGER than the other...looked like crap from behind.

I agree with two above - the edelbrock cat-back made my IROC sounds kind of weird, I really don't like it. My formula has a dynomax and as stated, is not very loud. I like the sound of the slp, just not the single side exit look.

Flowmaster is the best way to go... if you have the extra cash, borla is always number 1 in my book.

If you want to spend a lot of money, go Borla. If you want a nice (lesser priced) system, go Hooker Aerochamber.

The best by far other than a Banks power pack system, which is in limited availability, is a MAGNA FLOW !! ! ! Ask Willie !

the Hooker Cat-back sounds very good. it sounds like our cars should of sounded like out of the dealer. its got that muscle car sound we need. nice and rumbly at idle. and it just roars at WOT and even if you dont push it you can still hear that muscle car sound. it gets loud at 2000 rpms and about 3000 rpms(if you push it) my free way rpm is 3000 rpms at 70 and i cant really hear it. i think it the perfect sound for our cars. just my 02

I have a flowmaster on my car and I like it alot especially at 2500 on up. I took off the cat and have a 3 inch off road pipe there instead. If cash is a issue just buy the muffler and have a muffler shop install it. I'm not for sure in your case but my car came with like 3inch all the way back. If the exhaust is rusted I would by the cat back kit. Especially if you want new trailing arms. Homemade trailing arms don't look right when their not manderal(2 and 1/2inch in ALL places) bent. If I was to do it all over again I would get a catback system that was a little louder at low RPM's especially if you just like to putt around town because the mustangs flowmaster sounds tuffer than the fbody's exhaust at low RPMs.
