What times could I reasonably expect
Stepping up from my 87 with the 305 TPI and AO tranny, and possibly getting a 91 Z-28 with the 350 and I was wondering what kind of quarter mile times I should expect on average. Its stock, 70K miles, and in very good condition. Thanks to all those in the know.
I would say mid to low 14's assuming its in good tune. 14.2@98 is the fastest 3rd gen time I have seen for the L98 cars and most of them were around 14.4's or so at about 96 or so mph. That is assuming it has the 3.23 gears. 2.73's would probably be around 14.7 or so.

yeah, probly mid 14's or so,couple 1/10's higher or lower depending on where you live and track condition, weather, altitude, temp etc.really hard to say.Acar could lose or gain a couple a 1/10s from state to state, thats the prob with comparing times on the internet, way too many variables.
