lt1 cam do i need a tune?

i wanna put an lt1 cam in my 305. it's the maf system so do i need to get it tuned? would a jet chip work? etc..

No, you should be fine with the stock chip. The LT1 cam is very similar to the TPI cam, only with more lift.

Stay away from off the shelf Hypertech and JET chips and the like. They only do one thing right, and that's take the money from your wallet and put it in theirs.

I think you would probably benefit from an adjustable fuel pressure regulator the most at this point. Give it a bit more pressure and you should be golden.
