Make sure that when you hooked everything back up you didn't forget anything. There are several vaccuum hoses that are on the throttle boby and the plenum. And alsoi a few connectors for the TPS sensor and the IAC valve on the Throttle body. And the MAF sensor on the underside of the plenum. Double check EVERYTHING!

What other mods do you have. A lot of times, you may have just reached the point of needing a custom chip. I did heads/cam, lower end and a whole bunch of other stuff. it ran fine till I changed the intake/inj/tb. good luc

I don't want to sound mean, but some people give some crazy advice that makes things worse than they are. Justin, if the car was running good before, what makes you think that he needs a custom chip now? Wataru, obviously something happened, most likely you broke something or forgot to reconnect something or just so it happen that something decided to break right when you decide to port your plenum. If you double checked already, then triple check. If that does not work, then take it to someone who knows better for a complete system check up. Trust me, your problem is not ECM calibration. You barely have any mods and a chip wont fix the car.

.........a well designed chip, however, will probably lower your et.

You might have a vacuum leak at the runners. Use an unlit propane torch wander it around the gasket areas if everything else looks ok.

And if the vacuum hoses don't fix it, for some reason i had to disconnect my battery for 30 mins and then reconnect it. Sounds odd to me, but it worked, so you may wish to try that before you go tearing into bigger things...

-Problems every other day with the car (probably not a mod, but to me it sure makes a difference)
