no start 350 tpi
need help, while driving car just died. had it towed home and started checking.
NO SPARK. 45 lbs fuel pressure. tried different spark control module, ignition coil, pickup coil, tps sensor, wiring, couldn't find anything. I'm assuming the parts i tried were good, but who knows. any suggestions? how much oil pressure is needed while cranking to allow ecm to give spark? thanks

Re: no start 350 tpi
The oil pressure sensor allows the fuel pump to continue running. That sensor's input is not used to control spark.
My only experience with a no spark condition was VATs (mistakenly left on during a TPI retrofit) and a bad ignition coil.

Re: no start 350 tpi
found out what the problem was. distributor gear was worn down on one spot. gear wasn't meshing with cam, so it stopped turning, hense, no spark. cleaned out oil pan with magnet, changed oil and filter. rebuilt distributor, sprayed gunk down hole and let it drain out oil pan. fired right up. no more problem. thanks
