How to switch to serpintine?
I want to switch my 85 305tpi trans am to serpintine. How do I do this and what all do I need?

Engine: 350 LT1/382 LT1
Transmission: 4L60-E/T-56
Axle/Gears: 3.45/3.42 (soon 4.10)
Check out www.tacreationsUSA.com. They've got the conversion kit for $200+ (used). I feel your pain, my '86 IROC is getting one too. My old thread should be somewhere in this topic about the same thing. Throw on some underdrive pulleys while you're at it. The serpentine setup uses all different hoses and accessories (due to placement in engine compartment), but is STILL well worth the $$$. Also, accessory related mods are cheaper and more plentiful with a serpentine setup. Good luck. -dhirocz
