TPI won't start... could the FPR be bad?

Well, I got the pump in and it still stutters and hesitates. Now, it won't even crank at the key. We had a hot-wired push button starter under the hood and it will crank the motor, but it will not start? It has spark and injectors, MAP, TPS, pump, wires, plugs, and cap/rotor are all GOOD! Can the fuel pressure regulator be bad? We are almost sure its a fuel problem... possibly the ECM? We thought the problem maybe got worse after putting more fuel pressure against the FPR with the new Holley pump. Thanks for any help!!

Maybe time to buy a fuel pressure gauge and check it out...better that throwing $$ at parts, plus extra tools are cool

Pressure is fine, but my dad found out the ECM fuse was blown. Bad ECM?

Probably not a bad ECM, but a short somewhere... check all the wiring that you can see, I know, it's tedious, I've had to do it before. Chasing a short is one of the biggest PITAs there are. Do you have a shop manual? They can be a HUGE help in situations like this.

One other thing, you might want to check your ESC module, and make sure you haven't knocked off the wires leading to your distributor cap, I did that once while putting my runners back on and couldn't figure out for the life of me why the car wouldn't start. Cost me $200 just to have some idiot at the dealer find that wire and put it back on. Why so much? He said because of my aftermarket (Accel) coil he had to charge extra... what a crock.
