intercooler

Any body ever thought about bolting a intercooler to a car without a supercharger to keep cool air going in during the summer it seems like a natural idea. I have seen people put like a sneak apeak of nitrous to cool internal engine temperatures.

If you think about, all you would be doing is putting a big restriction in the intake track. The only reason that they are good for blown applications is because the air is being forced through them.
Think about this, if an intercooler was put after a supercharger on a system designed without one(say vortec) then the boost would drop considerably. The reason that the boosted guys run them is becuz they need to cool down the air coming in (compressed air = hot air).
