peak hp and redline

I have a question that is either interesting or dumb you choose lol. I realize that the TPI intake is usually limited to about 4500rpm. I have an accel base and have ported out the plenum and runners and have a cold air box as well. Aside from the other mods, I realize this is not too radical, but I feel a lot more power up near 5000 - 5500 than before, the car actually pulls there, could have to do with other mods. But I am curious, with this setup, or even if I put on an accel superram which supposedly puts power up past 6000, does the redline of the car change? Meaning, am I actually still limited to the 5500 redline because of the cam, or can I now go a little futher cause there is more power there? I don't know all that much about cams and have yet to put a new one in though I want to, and this is why I ask. What does "redline" really mean? Thanks very much, and please excuse me on this issue.

well ,
true redline is where the valves start floating or the max rotational rating of the bottom end of the motor, whichever comes first (usually the valves float b/c of weak springs)
the other stuff you mentioned helps move the peak power farther up the rpm range but you have to change the rotation assembly and valvesprings to change the redline of the motor.
