hey will be fine, try setting them at 48-50PSI check my Sig, I am running 46psi and turning a decent 13.9 1/4 on 19# injectors(from the 305). Its better to install a bigger fuel pump and crank up the Fuel pressure than to goto 24# injectors unless you really need them. It all depends, but your engine seems like you could pull it off.
THough if I would get the AFR heads I want I would bump mine a little higher.
If you want a set of 24# inectors I have a set of SVO 24#'s that have never been installed that I will sale for $170.00, just email me at teltubbie98_99@yahoo.com if you want them.

I read (in a book on TPI) that 19 lb injectors are good for up to 400 hp. So I think you'll be Ok with the injectors. But grumpy's right, a custom prom might be a good idea.

I say just get the 21#/hr injectors and be done with it!! The 350 TPI engines came stock from GM with the 21# injectors afterall!! I think I'm just gonna go with 24# SVO's and an aftermarket Ed Wright Fast Chip in my 355!!
Just my opinion!
------------------
1986 Trans AM
305 TPI
Well over 200,000+ miles (speedo/odometer non-funtional! Odometer reads 142,000)
4 Wheel Discs
9 bolt Borg Warner Rear (2.77's....oh joy) :P
Completely Stock
Soon to upgrade to a 355 TPI, Stock TPI ported, 24#/hr SVO injectors, Hedman Shorty Headers, Dart Iron Eagle heads or GM LT4 heads, XE262 Cam ground on a 114 LSA, Moroso Blue Max Plug Wires, external MSD Blaster II Coil and an MSD 6-AL Box!!
Current project: Keeping my 305 running until I get my income tax returns!

just seems odd to me to do all that work and then at the last minute, cut corners. Why not investigate doing your own proms, run some 24 or 30#/hr injectors and have lots of fun. Stock cal ain't even close for that.

Thanks for the reply. I have not had a chip burned yet. I have a speed density TPI and need a new chip anyway that will dissable VATS, etc. I am not sure what information the chip burners use but maybe I can get by with the 19# injectors.
Thanks,I appreciate the feedback,

Ok, but a custom prom is another thing you will eventually need for top performance, I just understand what you mean about doing it on a limited amount of cash. People act like if your going to do something you have to do everything 100%, they sometimes forget about the $$$$ of doing everything to the hilt.

For what its worth, I run 19 lb/hr injectors with a modified TPI (heads, cam, ported intake, 52 mmTB, etc.). I had to turn up my fuel pressure to 55psi to get the block learn down to 128. I have a MAF setup as well, so a bit more tolerant.
I would suspect with a speed density setup, you will definitely need more than 46 psi to avoid running lean at WOT. Keep in mind, not all injectors will flow more at higher pressure. There is a limit at where an injector will struggle to open against the pressure and therefore have less overall flow. The worst case with higher presure (high as in the 50's) is that the injector balence could be off, some will flow more, some will flow less. This would result in a few cylinders running lean. Ok worst case I realize, but you did just spend a whole pile on that new engine right?
Hook it up to a scanner and monitor what it's doing when you get it running. You can always change injectors later.
Mark.
