Aftermarket cam= less torque??

Basically, the quesion is that would the cam in the signiture reduce the overall amount of torque on a 305 or a 350. I want to do a 350 engine swap the summer, but i've been told that the T-5's can only hold 325 ftlbs of torque, and any 350 puts out about 350. Whats up guys?
