which cam 2031 or 2032
whats the difference between these two cams..... which one is better for a nearly stock 88 gta with a 350 motor... only reals mods are flowmaster exhaust hedman long tubes and slp intake.... the 2031 cam sounds like this

would the 2032 sound similar because the 2032 is suppose to be alittle better. thanxs....

Re: which cam 2031 or 2032
If you're talking the Crane 2031 and 2032, the difference is that the 2032 duration is 6 degs greater on both the intake and exhaust and the lift is marginally higher. The 2032 would be the better choice from a power standpoint, particularly if you're willing to burn your own PROM. There's a greater chance you'll be fine with the stock PROM with the 2031 but it won't make quite as much power. Both are mild and well matched to the needs of TPI.

I have the 2032....I love it.
Crane # 104224
Your going to need a adjustable fuel pressure regulator, New Springs, new valve seals, Fuel rail oring kit, fuel injector oring kit, runner gaskets, intake gaskets, water pump gaskets, Valve cover gaskets, & a timing cover gasket.....I think thats all.
I used my stock lifters and my stock pushrods.
Special Tools: a valve spring compresser, air compressor, attachment to tread into your spark plug hole to keep your valves from dropping.
Also good time to look at the timing chain & gears, I replaced mine while I was in there.
Everything I changed is in my profile.
