difference between TBI and TPI replacement engines?

What is the difference between a TBI and TPI engine? Are the heads designed specifically for the injection setup? It is probably a moot point for my purposes anyway.

I want to get this long block at the bottom of the page:
http://www.paceparts.com/specials_page.htm

It is the caprice TBI engine at paceparts. Then I'll install 23* TFS heads and a ZZ4 cam. I want to switch to a one-pice rear main seal and centerbolt valve covers. I think it is the most inexpensive and best part selection than any alternative that I can think of or have looked at that is all new. I'd get a ZZ4 but I want my EGR to function w/ out messing to much w/ it. Considereing it has a decent bottom end, a roller setup plus the pans/covers, and a balancer it is cheaper to get the long block then to buy them seperatly because I currently have a two-piece, non-roller, traditional VC 305 TPI.

Any thoughts? Any problems with the above??

James
