TPI Air Intake Ducting!

I need to know if anyone knows where I can get the air duct that goes on the end of the throttle body!! Below is a link to the picture of the SLP cold air induction kit and the piece I need is in the very bottom right corner....I DON'T want to buy the entire cold air induction kit!! The piece I have right now that came stock on my '86 TA has a stupid plastic box between the throttle body and the MAF and I want this ducting so I can replace that stupid box with a normal looking air duct!! If anyone knows where I can get a piece like this, please let me know!

It's avail. from the GM dealership. I can't remember the part number but it was used on the 88-92 TPI's. Price was like $28.95 if I remember right.

Yep, just tell them you want the bellows for an 88 Formula, I picked one up a few weeks ago from the dealer for about $28 (wholesale price). I need to see if they have that MAF sensor bracket though... I know the other piece of ducting is discontinued though, the one that goes from the MAF to the airbox, so now I'm ordering the intake hose for an 89 TTA. It's hard to find a commercial piece that is 3 1/8" i.d. to fit over that MAF sensor

One word about the '88 and up MAF bracket guys - it won't fit right on earlier year cars! The radiator shrouds are wider on '85-'87s. SLP modifies the factory bracket by welding on an extension piece. I don't even use the bracket anymore (I have the SLP cold air kit). It never did fit right. I'm going to fabricate something myself when I have the time.

Keep in mind that none of your stock intake ducting from your 85-87 system will work if you get the elbow off of an 88-92 intake duct system. The MAF sits at an angle down lower on the older system with no bracket and on the 88-92 system it is mounted horizontally to a bracket level with the radiator shroud and then another piece goes to the air box from the MAF. The airbox on the newer system flows the opposite way than yours as well.

I purchased the bracket, both rubber duct pieces from the GM dealer about a year ago for a friend of mine and they weren't discontinued. So unless GM recently discontinued the pieces, you should be able to order those parts from the dealer (find somebody that works for a dealer so you get the discount ). The MAF bracket from the newer system can be made to work on the older style with a little grinding on the bolt holes where it mounts to the radiator shroud (atleast that is what he did to get his to work). I got all of that stuff for the guy and then he ordered just the cold air box from SLP by itself for $75 and for a grand total of about $120, he had the exact same system as the SLP one

Also, the stock air filter dimensions are the same as the ones used in the SLP cold air box so you can use the K+N for a stock airbox in the SLP box too.
