rough idle???
When my car heats up, and I sit at a light in drive the car will idle fine thin it feels like it looses 1 or 2 cylinders real quick. its not like miss mor like it dies and comes back up real fast. Plus at crusing speeds when i just barely touch the gas it will do the same thing. Its got a newer tps (6 months old) and a new tune up. I replaced the O2 the same time as the tps but i have run some 110 octane leaded race gas to stop the ping at the track. Any input would be greatly appriciated.

Its not giving you any codes is it? How many miles does this motor have on it? If you have not yet, try flashing the codes to see if you have one set. The oxygen sensor will not throw a code if it is bad, only if it senses a lean or rich condition. I have also heard that leaded race gas can ruin an oxygen sensor too. Did you replace the cap and rotor in your tune up? Keep us posted...

Leaded gasoline will ruin your O2 sensor.

No I did not replace the cap and rotor. The check engine light isnt on so i dont think there is any codes but im not sure how all that works im more of a carb guy playing with tpi. I need some quck help the car used to be reall consistant now its not and points season starts saturday so i need some help. Thanks

have you replaced the O2 sensor since your ran leaded fuel? and keep in mind, any sensor that fuel or exhaust touched while you were running leaded fuel has probably "hazed" over........
