And what type of results did u get with it.....curiosity killed the cat here was thinking of experimenting eith it in my car seems to be would idle very nice and with the lower duration and high lift would seem to ramp up very quickly

I've got the 220°/230°, 0.510"/0.510", 114° LSA Comp in an LT1 and the idle is very acceptable. There is only the slightest burble and lope, probably mostly from the lift and advanced valve timing more than from overlap. It is very smooth all the way down to about 800RPM in DRIVE, where the idle begins to lope. It will still idle way down to 450 RPM in gear without stalling, but that's probably due to the SFI, and the PCM stall-saver programming.
Oh, yeah - torque picks up very well at 2,500 RPM and keeps me well planted in the seat all the way to 5,500 or so, where is starts to fall off a bit. That's a pretty good time to shift anyway.

Vader,
Are you running that cam in a 305? I was going to go with the one that 3.8transam mentioned, how good would that be in a LB9 305? I currently have the peanut and want to feel the difference.

Mods
Custom exhaust. 4 Inch pipe from the headders all the way back to a single muffler at the rear. No Cat. K&Ns, AFPR and Air foil.
Future mods:
Cam change
New torque converter
New heads (maybe corvette L98)
Strut brace
Sub frame connectors
Ram Air
Current G-Tech times
0-60mph 6.26 seconds
1/4 14.74@100.2mph

I ran Comp Cams 210/220 .500/.510 1143lsa cam
With the i.6 rockers,lift was .533/.544
I had weak springs on my WP torquer heads, and broke them all off on the exhaust valves,so I never got to push the motor to its fullness.
Track results even with bad springs were:
stock cam 12.4 at 109mph
Comp Cam 12.8 at 116mph
As you can see,mph picked up by 7 mph,and I was floating the valves for most of the run.
Im currenty installing Comp Cams 230/244 with the 1.6 rockers lift will be .544/.576
with 112 lsa
I have to have the heads machined to use this cam,its going to be a radical 305.
Also, the idle was pretty good, you could tell the car was cammed, but it wasnt rough at all.

3.8 Trans-Am, the part# to that comp cam is 08-304-8. I have the same cam insatlled in my 1991 z28 tpi right now. Never got the chance to drive or test the car. It does have a kick a##$ sound. Does anyone know if this cam needs a modifed computer chip or other modifications done to the engine? For instance, heads, intake, runners and etc.

I ran that cam with the stock chip in a speed density car.I didnt have any computer problems.I did break all tops of the valve springs on the exhuast side though.I was using 1.6 rockers,so lift was .533/.544
I would recomend double 1.440 springs.
If you dont want to have the heads machined,
you can try K-Motion H-11 1.265 springs which have 130lbs. at 1.7 installed hieght.
