anyone heard of our distributers going bad??
ive been having prob with my car cutting out around 4000-4500 only thing i havent checked is the distributer ive checked my msd,msd coil,chip,and replaced plugs and wires only thing left is my distributer or computer everyone tries to tell me its an ignition prob what do u guys think? u guys have come through for me before im out of ideas

I just went through this with my Iroc not too long ago. My distributor cap had all this green buildup inside. It was even an MSD cap. I bought an Accel cap, and that cured it. The Accel cap has brass terminals, I don't know what the MSD cap had.
