I am planning on rebuilding my 305tpi this fall, and have been looking for a cam. I was looking at the SLP cam for my motor, but then someone recomended the ZZ4 cam. Keep in mind now I would like to keep my car numbers matching. Would the ZZ4 cam work with my stock heads, or would they completly rob me of horsepower? If so what can I do to increase the flow numbers out of my heads? Also what size combustion chamber are my heads? Is it 64? Thanks in advance-

I think a ZZ4 cam would be too much for a 305. A LT4 cam should be good though.

the zz4 cam would be fine for a 305. you will need a loose converter to take advantage of that cam. but i would go with the zz-9 cam.
