...dropped a socket in the runner...part 2
Ive taken out the runners and the bolt is nowhere to be found..Should I go get a flex rubber hose with a magnet at the end or take the intake(base) off??Im afraid I might drop the duct taped magnet or it might get stuck there somehow..BTW whats the worst scenario..

Buy a telescoping magnet, they sell them at sears and lots of auto parts stores.
You could also buy...I don't know the proper name for it, it's a flexible shaft that has a three pronged claw on it.
If you can't get the socket out you have to pull the intake. I don't know what size socket it is, so it would either:
Worst case scenario, if you left it in:
A - screw up your intake valve, if it was too big to pass the valve
B- get sucked into the cylinder and screw up the cylinder wall, piston, valves, combustion chamber and possibly cause the conecting rod to bend a bit.
Find it and remove it, even if it means removing the intake.

use a snap on telescopoic magnetic pick up it will easily pull up a 3/8 drive ratchet and socket has a ;ot of power and its very thin to fit in small places
