The a/c on my 88 T/A has not worked for a while,and I would like to get rid of it to cut a little weight down.
Is this an easy task?
I assume you have to run a smaller belt,or does someone make a dummy pulley in place of the original one?

Yea, you'll need the A/C delete pulley. I just put one on mine. the part # is 10055890 they run about 45 bucks.

just wondering how much hp this will create? or is it just a weight reduction thing?

 

is there some sort of firewall plate that i can buy to cover up A/C compont opening on the firewall? part #s?

 

Don fix your A/C, dont hack it like most others in GB LOL

Not sure if I'm gonna do it...I've lived without it for awhile so I wouldn't miss it. That whoe setup must be worh some weight...

Besides in order to beat the GB crowd,sometimes you have to stoop to there level...LOL
