Lose wire to injectors

Problem w/my 87 GTA 305 TPI: The other night as I was driving it started stalling. Brought it to the mechanic, this is the report: I have a lose wire in my injectors. As a result, they are getting no power, so they won't work.; no fuel to my engine, won't run. My question is this: Has anyone had this happen to them, & how long does it take to fix?

I had a bad injector that was going to ground when it got hot. It stole voltage from all my other injectors, not allowing the car to start when hot. If you have a loose wire inside the injector plug, any good GM Tech should be able to pull the stock connector out of the plug and resolder a new one in, or just cut the entire plug off and solder a new one on. Should be very simple. However, one bad injector plug should not cause your car not too run after it's already started. I can unplug an injector while my car is running no problem.
Good luck.
