ASM Runners
ASM Runners
I am pretty much sold on their siamese large tube runners for my car. But I am wondering why they are actually longer in length than the stock runners and I know the ports are bigger but I thought you would want shorter runners to help more in higher rpms. I know Accel,SLP, and maybe Edelbrock are shorter.I really like the idea of having lots of torque. Thanks for any info.

Er, if that is all your mods listed, you are not even close to wanting to put those on your car. Hell you don't even need the regular AS&M runers yet.

I wouldn't start replacing little things like that either. in my opinion the hp/dollar is way too low for stuff like that. looks like you've got a good setup now. i'd enjoy it for a while and save for a blower or just run NOS. don't worry about where the next tenth or two of a second is coming from and just drop your et by almost 2 seconds. I bought a blower for my 88 and it is definetly worth the money. I made no other mods. the beaty of the blower or nos is keep them and just put it on your next car. I didn't like the idea of committing myself to tpi. just my 2cents

I'd get a torque converter next, something in the 2400-2800 range.
