HP/TQ Guestimate....

I'm in the market for a torque converter. I don't know what my peak hp and tq numbers are or where they fall. I was hoping that maybe someone here could help me figure it out. Maybe someone with desktop dyno?

Here is the jist of my combo:
-383 w/flat top pistons (11.67-1 compression)
-Edelbrock 6085 heads (out of the box)
-zz9 camshaft w/1.6 rr's
(212/226@.050 .515/.525)
-Edelbrock TPI intake (out of the box)
-SLP runners
-Ported plenum
-52mm TB
-Stock 22lb injectors
-4.10 gears

Any help or even advice on picking the correct type of converter would be GREATLY appreciated. TPIS Said that "I'm making peak power at 4,500rpms and should stick to a stall speed of 2000-2400" Does this sound right?

Thanks
Bob

desktop dyno says that your motor will make 508tq @ 3500
428hp @ 5000
those numbers are running the cam at 3* advanced.

those are great numbers, but I would not take them to heart they are numbers from a computer not actual numbers you will actually produce.

Good luck
thats one hell of a engine.

Thanks for the help! Yeah I know those numbers are high but its a starting point Hey, could you save and email me the .dyn file for that? I got a copy of dd2000 today! My email is bobden13@erols.com

So far the engine has been in the car for a year now. The transmission has been a problem from the start so I haven't been able to really enjoy it. I got a new tranny under my warranty, but its "remanufactured to oem spec". I'm gonna get some extras for it as soon as my tax refund gets here
