Depending on your race weight, gear ratio, etc. anywhere from 420 - 480 RWHP should do it.

thats what i was saying, somewhere in the high 400

Around 350-375rwhp will do it with a good hook (1.6-1.7 60' times).

That is a toss up - if he wants guaranteed 11s in a variety of conditions he'll need a healthy 450ish RWHP.

I know plenty of guys who run 11s with 450 or so crank HP in cars that weigh 3300-3400 lbs...

Maybe if some of those conditions include rain or snow 450rwhp is enough snot to get you into the low 11's. I'm going to stand by my guesstimate of 350-375rwhp. That's assuming everything is what it's supposed to be....ie, converter, gears, traction.

But yeah, you're right, 450rwhp will definitely get you at least a high 11.

At least? Like, almost a 10.9 actually. Either way the guy got his answer. Anywhere from 375 - 450RWHP should do it.

yea i figure around 375-400 wrhp would be good. my plan is to do a lt1 swap with the lt4 hot cam kit in it should be around 425 at the flywheel a set of 4.10's a 3200 stall TC and some nice big drag radials should hopefully put me in the 11's

a 4th gen friend of mine runs 11.4 with 380rwhp, full interior.

all depends on the setup.

do the right suspension mods to help the most.
