TPI gurus, need some intake setup advice

I have a chance to buy some AS&M runners, fully ported plenum and a 53mm throttle body.

My current setup is this:
1989 TPI L98
-Edelbrock lower manifold
-24# injectors
-AFPR
-Modified MAF
-SLP cat back exhaust
-hi flow converters
-stock heads & exhaust manifolds, stock cam
-I will be rebuilding the trans with a SLP torque converter.

Will the long tube runners and 52mm T/B be too much for the stick heads & manifolds?
I don't want to add these parts now and loose a whol bunch on the low end because they flow more air than the rest of the system. I do plan on heads, cam and headers in the future, but not for a while.

Any advice?

Thanks in advance

Im guessing u have a 350 so in my opinion u can use the 52mm throttle bodie and the AS&M runners, they help promote torque. Like i said if u modify the exhaust, u must modify the intake. U wanna help your motor inhale and exhale. I have those mods on my 305, so go for it.

Those parts shouldn't hurt you at all. Sounds like a good addition

Man Dylan , if were you I would pass and FIX the tranny man and get a converter . Your gonna get more from that . Personally I would not do the TPI till I could do it all at once . Add a set of 3.42 gears to the tranny/conv. combo and you'll really get a nice gain
