I went 4" into my TPIS manifold while siamesing it.......
I did a really nice job and went a little deeper than most because I REEEEEEELY need less bottom end out of my 383. I would tottaly cut out at 4000-4500 rpm, so I figure the 58mm throttle body extrude honed siamese runners and the intake would probably raise my rpm another 1000rpm. I would have wheel spin through 3rd with my 323 rear and it was making me lose races. I hope this will help. I know you might think it could be an overkill but I think it should help me in what I'M looking for (less lower end* More mid-upper end) I'll post my results soon as I need to put the Roller Rockers on and finish the manifold first. What do you guy's think about my rpm and what will happen to it?

I really don't have any evidence to support this, but I think that if your traction problems are that bad, your mods should help you. You have the cubes there to need the bigger TB and the larger intake area. You also have the massive torque that should still be effective with the loss of some low RPM intake velocity. Sounds like a plan to me!!
BTW, are you running a stall converter and if so, what RPM?

If your car is only running mid to high 13's im gona have to come over and smack you around for a while. Buy some slicks and hook up, at least some drag radials. My car is running 13.8 on a stock motor (rebuilt, but built to stock) you better be dipping mid 12's at least.

Weight is definetely an ET/MPH killer. I've got a heavier than stock IROC-Z (lots of stereo, subwoofer box and over 100 pounds of dynomat) and the weight burden really slows the car. I had a buddy ride down the local 1/8 mile with me (he is around 275 pounds or so). The car slowed nearly three MPH trap speed.

I noticed you have SLP runners but you didn't say anything about siamesing them further.
Remove all of the septum from the runners for their entire length. Remove material until the two round passages in each runner leg is just one large oval port. The set currently on my IROC have been done that way. You will pick up even more flow and power on the mid/top end. That will increase flow to the base, do to less turbulence & restriction + it increases plenum volume which will help feed the base at mid to higher RPM and softens low RPM torque some

There has to be a point where fuel from one injector is reversioned back up into the shared pair and eaten by the other cylinder causeing a lean/rich cylinder mismatch.....
I worried about this so I only took it about 2 inches or so in.

That shouldnt be a problem, because of the runner length in the base itself is of sufficient length. Everyone I have talked to that has done this has seen the expected results of lowering some low end torque, and raising their RPM wall.
Of course, we are talking about 383-406ci engines....which are torque monsters to begin with.

I'll definatly be siamesing the runners as well. I was planning on doing that but didnt mention it. My car weighs alot from my stereo also, but there is no way to describe how it feels to turn up the stereo to it's almost 148DB range with some awsome music telling you it's OK to drive fast
Anyway am I bieng to frugal with my possible ET's? I seriously dont know what to expect from this car.
