no spark

I have a 350 TPI. I have no spark at the wires or coil. I have changed the distributer, ign module, coil, pick-up coil, msd 6al, ESC module, have ten volts on the pink and white wires at the distributer. I just tested the msd and the coil on a buddies car. I also just had the ign module tested again and it is good. Any suggestions would be appreicated.

The ECM is not putting out any codes. The ECM should not control anything until the engine is over 400 or 600 RPM's.

It is frustrating when these ingrates don't come back and give us results, but I suppose it is human nature to be selfish. In your case "I'm having the same problem" doesn't really help very much. If you go to a thread and it doesn't help because no one posted a resolution, instead of resurrecting an old thread, start a new thread with a description of your problem and all of the symptoms you know of. These cars are complicated enough electrically that there are often dozens of possible problems that will appear to have exactly the same symptoms. Wildly guessing and changing various components may eventually fix it, but it is far and away the most expensive method of "trouble shooting".

This guy NEEDS to start a new thread. The original post was done on June 4 2001. All of the answers until you get to quickbrad were ancient history. Quickbrad jumped into an old, obsolete thread and took it up again with a complaint that no one gave an outcome. At this point as near as I can tell nothing has been tested, or replaced, all we have is guesses about his problem or guesses of more parts to buy to see if it will fix.
