Fuel rail "plug"?

I have a fuel rail from an '87 TPI, but I'm using on my '92 so I need to plug the 9th injector hole at the back of the driver's side rail. I know Street & Performance sells a billet plug, but can I just go to my local hardware or parts store and pick up a similar fix? Anyone have the sepecifics of the fitting (size, thread count, etc.)? THANKS!

yeah use what ever you can find to plug it,but make sure you use some teflon tape to seal it up.
hell just take the fuel rail with you when you go to the hardware store

I know it's metric, but I'm not sure of the size...maybe an M14? If it's an M14 you could go down to NAPA and buy an O2 sensor plug kit to use.

Accel sells a plug kit too.

Scott,

What I did was to remove the tube from the cold start connector and braze the hole. I then cut a piece of fuel line the size of the ID of the plug and installed it. That's been a year or so back and I have never had a leak. It must have taken a whole twenty minutes to do.
