Working EGR with ZZ4 heads
For the sake of increasing gas mileage and ease of chip tuning, I want to get my EGR system working on my current setup (see mods below). I have to tap into the number #8 header tube to make this work, and I am looking for a premade tube that I can either have a bung welded onto the header, or just use a compression connection to attach it. I found this at the impala club web site, but I don't think it's quite what I am looking for:
Anyone have a part # (like from the 89 vette) for a tube that I can use? Also, what did you use for the header bung?
Thanks,

Here's the pics of what I did:

Basically I just used some junkyard parts and welded that bung to my SLP 1 3/4" headers, and connected it to my TPIS big mouth intake manifold.

Kevin,
What year/make/model of car did you get the
tube and bung from? They are exactly what I need!
I can't tell from the pics - is the flanged opening on the manifold identical to the one on the header?
The local boneyards around here are pretty lousy, so I may try to order the tube direct from GM. Dunno about the bung, but I can probably scavenge one from somewhere...
Thanks.

You can get one from a L98 Corvette, and then modify your header to fit it. I dont remember what car exactly it came from, I do remember it was a V6. They have those EGR tubes going to the throttle body. I got two and put them together.
