Ok, this blows. the bit I was using to tighten the intake manifold bolts fell into the front passage on the driver side head.. its went in, then a little to the left.. just out of sight.. anyone have any ideas how to get it out? Not looking forward to pulling the heads.....

have you tried one of those telescoping magnetic pointers?

 

yeah, i used those to retreve batteries from the front defroster vents.
