different tpi motors?

i was looking online at some pics of tpi motors. i noticed they all had the alternarors on the right side of the motor and the ac on left side (looking down at the motor) mine is the opposite. were there different tpi motors or something? i know its not the original 5.7. any ideas?

Re: different tpi motors?

Yours is pre 88. Befour 88 they used v-belts and a serpentine belt. 88 and later used a single serpentine belt and the a/c comp. and alt. were switched.
