What runners are these?
What runners are these?
I bought a complete TPI setup from a friend, and im not sure what these runners are I mean they're siamesed at the top but not the bottom.... they definately arent stock but the only letters on them are a BB???

If anybody could help me out it would be awesome, I plan to completely siamese the intake and runners, I was just curious as to what these are.

Those are SLP runners of the 2nd design. Looks like someone has already done some work on them at the top.

those are SLP's.... where do u see work done at the top of them? looks like they blocked the small lil tube.... thats about it.
i got em on mine but yours are for 89 and later where the cold start injector hole is gone. mine has the injector hole. yours is filled in (second pic) bottom flange. good luck opening them up, i worked mine alil but the walls are thin kinda in certain points and its gona take a but load of time.

They come siamesed like that.... but thanks guys I figured they were SLP by the FAT look on the outside. Ive seen many people siamese these runners but I figured its worth a try since I already have the runners.

From the picture they looked like they were a little cleaner than usual. That is why I thought someone may have cleaned them up some. Maybe not.

yea i kno they come like that.... i just dont see wat work has been done to them or wat he sees.
i worked mine alil bit at the tops/bottoms and i went to town on the plenum... thats where u need to do the most of your work but u cant do too much unless u kno what your doing and u have the skill, time, tools.

Well I just noticed that the upper ports were i guess you can say "cut-through" between the ports. I plan on doing alot of work to the intake setup with porting and gasket matching, but my question is.... what kind of gaskets do you TPI guys run with ported runners? I know its not good to cut factory ones out biggers.

You can use Accel or Mr Gasket gaskets for aftermarket runners. They are larger to fit the larger ports.
