I want to switch from TBI to TPI...but I want to keep my VATS working....I will be switching from a Speed Density TPI car...using the computer and harness from the TPI car (which I will get from Ebay).....how do I keep my VATS working?

Simply use an ECM and PROM that would have been equipped w/ PassKey. For example, when I converted to TPI, I used the 1227730 ECM and a '91 TransAm PROM chip. Just make sure you leave the VATS module hooked up, and you run the DK/BLU wire from the module to the ECM. If you use a factory engine harness you won't have much to worry about.

It should. 1989 is when I think they started in the F-bodies.
