How Do I correct my Ignition Timing
I had to replace my intake manifold gaskets and it required that I take the distributor out. I made the correct markings(distributor to engine,Rotor to distributor, and the final end mark of the rotor to distributor).I replaced it the opposite way and my z won't start now.A little bit of smoke comes from the throttle body also. HOW DO I FIX THIS CRAP?

Unfortunately somtimes it does not work as nicely as we would like...
#1 Make sure you have spark,
What I do is put my finger over #1 and have someone touch crank, don't hold the starter, it does you no good. jsut a quick touch, when you get compression you will feel it blow out your finger.
locate #1 on your distributor & point the rotor at it. You will have to time from there.

Yep I do the same thing.
When I'm alone and don't have anyone to help me and I'm too lazy to connect my remote starter (gotta jack up the car to get the the solenoid terminals), I just stuff a piece of tissue in the #1 hole (leaving part of it still sticking out).
I just bump the engine til the tissue blows out. You'll hear a 'POOP' sound when the tissue blows out.
