can you identify this relay?

it's located on the passenger side firewall and has numbers 1032973 on it...i couldn't find it in any of my books and it looks like it was spliced into my wiring harness or something cause it's all taped up...sucks buying someone's work and trying to figure out what mods may have been done and what is repair of stock components... any help on this is greatly appreciated!

maybe they converted to a newer(86+) maf burnoff relay.

that's what i was thinking since i didn't couldn't find the burnoff relay piggy backed to the ecm like everyone describes for the 85 but i want to be sure, and wouldn't there be two relays if the ecm was upgraded? anyone else got any clue as to what relay this is?

It could be the fuel pump relay, after all, it's supposed to be there, whoever had the car before could have just been taping up a broken harness connector. The MAF Power, MAF Burnoff, and fuel pump relays are all interchangeable so it very well could be it.

Also, only the Camaro's had the burnoff modules piggybacked to the ECM, the T/As had the burnoff module mounted to it's own bracket which was fastened to the dashboard support in front of the ECM. Even if the guy who had the car before you DID switch it over to the 86-89 setup, that doesn't mean he mounted the relays there, mine are tucked right in front of the ECM where the burnoff module was.

I bought a TPI setup from an '85 Trans AM not too long ago and the guy included the fuel pump relay with it. The number is
14078915. I don't know if this helps at all, but I thought I would throw it in. Good luck with it!
