If you have a set of runners that are not crushed I can fix them.I use to polish runners at STREET & PERFORMANCE, but before
I could polish them I had to remove any dents from them,so if you would like to have
smoothe undented runners E-MAIL ME.I charge
$50.00 a set, plus free shiping.

Yeah, I did have a pair of stock runners with dents in them. But, since they're junk anyway, I just replaced them with a super ram. Oh yeah, isn't a smoothe a drink you get at a Super 7...or maybe it's called slurpee? I don't know.

50 bucks to run a ball bearing through a tube?

Actually I git the Idea from one of the "Jim8xIROCs" a year or so ago...
I scrounged through a friend of my Dads parts bins, who rebuilds tractors, and found a ball bearing that fit snugly in the runner tube.
The first one I tried I got in a hurry and thought a "little heat" would help, shoulda used a propane torch instead of the OA..anyway, that one went in the AL scrap pile
Next one I just used the ball bearing and taped it through with a hard, flexible poly-like piece of stock I had...hardest part was supporting the runner. I did kinda reshape the runner at the bend, but IMO, probably for the better anyway.
But I was stuck with only one good one, no one would sell just the other side, so I had to buy a set. I gave the one I fixed to a buddy who had one caved in.
Wow, your polishing job came out sweet, did you do it by hand or with a wheel?

A little of both. The wetsand @ 400 of course was by hand. Then on the areas my wheel buffer could reach I polished with it, then on the areas it couldn't reach I used a wheel on a drill.
Lotta' work....but worth it.
