Miniram Bracket Problem
What are the non-serpentine belt people doing to mount their alternators? The miniram has no place to mount the bracket that was bolted to the intake on the TPI setup.
Where is it supposed to go? The IAC motor is in the way.

Solid Roller Minirammed 377 waiting to be installed

We encountered this same problem when we installed my MiniRam on Mike Davis' motor for Dyno comparing a fully upgraded TPI setup to the MiniRam on a HOT cammed ZZ4. Simply put - we obtained another alt bracket and modified it (chopped it off). Pics are here:

All Natural. No Force. No Drugs. Stock Bottom End. Stock Body Panels.
Gunning for NA 11's with bigger cam, bigger stall, and bigger exhaust.

You can try to use a turnbuckle with spherical rod ends (similar to what March uses) and mount one end on the water pump where the stock bracket bolts to and the other end to the alternator.

Thanks Tim. It looks like I'm going to be doing some grinding this week.
