done with siamesing :)

its great. finally got all the kinks worked out and took it for a test drive
i can't notice much of a loss in low end torque if there is any. but i notice a huge difference from 3000 to 4500 rpms and from 4500 to 5500 it doesn't fall off much if any. 5500 is my redline and i didn't go past there cuz of the stock valvetrain.
this is on a 305 with the stuff listed in my sig plus i installed a blaster coil to help with my top end spark. new wires are in the box to be installed that will help also.
remember this is all on the stock chip. when i get to burning my own chip i'll be in the 13's for sure.
i can't wait
if you have the ability to siamese your intake i say do it.
i only went 1.5 inches into the intake. i will go more when i get new heads and cam. say to 3-4 inches
i'll post pics when i get the developed

What runners are you using? stock?

Do you have siamesed runners?

i have the stock runners. i really do not know what my runner length would be. i'm kinda confused on that because what i intended was to make the runners act as part of the plenum. thus siamesing the intake makes each intake port be able to draw from each runner making the runners act like the plenum at a higher rpm but at a lower rpm the runner would still help in acting like a longtube design (since i didn't cut too deep) and i think that is why i didn't loose any low end torque (that i can tell i may have lost like 5-10 but you can't notice that)
my whole goal was to make my car run better from 3k on up and i accomplished that. there is a much broader powerband and less fall off after 4500 rpm and i can pull to 5500 rpm with ease.
i run through 1st and 2nd gear like they aren't there and 3rd gear is in the powerband perfectly. i didn't run it up to 4th but i will later. it should pull much better now.

Here is some pics of what it pobably looks like. I think some siameesed runners will really help. TPI Base

yes that is what it looks like except i knife edged mine a lot more. tried to make a nice transition to where the siamesing stopped.
