red350z,
anytime you change compression, cam profile,
or major airflow change, the stock chip will
not let you benefit from your new parts.
generally if you can keep the engine vacuum
above 16" your chip burner can do the deed.
if not youll have to devise a better system.
or change the cam. what you have is fine.
to make the cam work properly with that would be:
AIRFLOW!!!!!!
the stock tpi will work but not to the cams
full potential. open the ports and runners
if you can or buy them done.
9.5:1-11.0:1 compression
3.42-3.73:1 rear gear

I used a ZZ4 cam in my 350 engine with the stock 305 chip that came with it. However when I put in the LT4 HOT cam, the computer freaked out. Since your cam has the same 218 duration as my cam, I'd say you'll need a chip. The best custom chip is one you make yourself, like I do. Second to that is one a local friend makes for you, and third to that, I've heard good things about Ed Wright at http://www.fastchip.com/

I have MAF, but my car does great with the LT4 HOT Cam and the PR chip. Between the 2, I spent less than $400.
