This will help quite a bit if your using the stock chip still. I am using a 305 chip on my 356 with heads, cam, intake, and blaw, blaw.
A chip can make a world of difference.
P.S. I would work on your intake first. that stock tpi is really choking that zz4. And when you do it, the chip will need reworking anyway.
good luck.

freebird,
if you are looking for a custom because of
the zz4 over the stock we can do a chip for
$225. the gains will be in the improved a/f
ratio, quicker accelleration, torque management
control. all with fuel, timing and power control
on the chip.
we are:
street & performance electronics
in north little rock, arkansas
501-9450354 with nationwide distribution.
if you buy an 'off the shelf' chip you still will
be short on power output. the zz4 cam although
a smooth idle, the ramp profile is aggressive.
and 'stock' isnt at all..
let us know.

What if you have a stock 91' 305 TA with a 5 spd. ???

Will a new chip make any difference. I don't need stall adjustment. Seems like the Hypertec chip mainly runs the fan more and controls the tranny lock up.
