I just bought my first car and I know its not the stock engine. Its a brands new LT1 350 .30 crate ( if thats right its on the sheet). I also got a upgraded transmission and pro-flo exhaust. Im guessing 260. What do you guys think?

7GAGE PRFM wires
Platinum + 4 high PRFM spark plugs
New Altinator
High PRFM 3 1/2 cat- PRO-FLO
Exhaust pipe 3 1/2 to muffler Pre-Fit
Flo-Pro High performance exhaust
Fuel Filter
PRFM air filters
PCV Valave and hose

 

If its an LT1 its around 280-300 hp stock, but with exhaust mods, its over 300, more like 330hp.

at the wheels that could be 275 or so, maybe abit more

looking at the cardomain page, i see you still have TPI which would mean its not a LT1. Is this correct?

 

on my sheet that I got with the new engine it says new LT-1 crate engine.

 

LT-1 may mean the old style 1970's LT-1. and not the new LT1. I have no idea whats in that old style LT-1 motor. I think they may have meant TPI. Where did you get it from and does it have any specs on it such as cam specs, what heads are on it, and what the compression is?

If it is just a replacement L98 style motor with stock TPI on it with those mods, i'd say your around 235whp or around 270 on motor

 

Sorry to break it to you but that is no LT1. That is a TPI motor. Might be a 350, might be a 305. Doesnt matter what that sheet of paper says. Pop your hood and read right on the top of your engine "tuned port injection".

 

Yea I have no idea what he meant by the engine. some people have told me that its a LT1 and some disagree. All I know is that car flys and I like it

The engine is 5.7 Liter V8 350TPI (GM CRATE MOTOR)
