As my sig says, I added a portmatched Edelbrock intake 1.6rr from Comp Cams, and bypassed my smog pump. No times yet, but I raced a friend who owns a '96 Cobra that runs 13.60s. We raced from a stop to 110 MPH and he was only 1.5 car lengths ahead of me...I'm guessing 13.8s for me . Anyway...I will go Gateway Raceway on Wednesday for exact times.

The car pulls much harder than before, and wants to rev much higher...It feels good!

Lose the stereo amp and subs and you will pull even with the bustang. Two hundred pounds equals two tenths in the quarter mile.

 

Torque loss? WHAT torque loss? I can break the rear loose at 20 mph on a 100* plus day (not cheating by downshifting either). Also, I raced a rebuilt 350ci TA with Tuned Port about 45 min ago - He jumped the gun but my torque gave that lead back while my extended rev range let me pull on him - it was fun!
